Hello all - I’ve just replaced the door rubbers and too weather strips with brand new parts and water is still getting in. It’s not as much as previously admittedly, however it’s still getting in and settling in the step channel towards the wheel arch of the step. Any ideas as I’m losing the will to live???

Remove the rubber again and along the area it’s leaking use a pair of wide nosed mole grips and bend the seam the rubber sits on towards the door, this will make a tighter fit when the door is closed, another way is with a short piece of 2x1 timber say six inches and put it end on to the seam and hit it with a hammer

Is your door bent? mine was and what i did is place a big beam at the bottom of the door so you cant close it but you create space to press out any misformations, role down your window and start pressing to top of your door, but this could be easily inspected just by looking at your door when its closed, and you should be able to tell where there is more room then it should have.
