Bluetooth scanner

Looking for any recommendations for a Bluetooth obd scanner to measure soot levels in the dpf whilst driving. I'm after one because it seems that it quite often starts doing a regen after a good motorway run just as I'm nearly home or sometimes just as I'm pulling onto my drive. So my thinking was if I could monitor the soot levels building up, I would know when a regen was due and drive a different way back.

Forscan is out go to...on a laptop. not bluetooth or WiFi as they don't have the same functionality.

Forscan now do a Bluetooth version for android and apple via the app

I know Foscan with a laptop is better, but what I am after is a scanner that can be used during a journey so I can keep a check on soot levels. I'll check out the forscan lite, I just need to find a decent Bluetooth obd scanner.

Don't bother with the forscan lite on mobile. After buying a wired module (and giving up trying to get it to work) I thought I'd try the forscan lite. Wished I'd not wasted 7 pounds as my basic Bluetooth one was just as good.

One day I'll make the wired one work but it's very frustrating trying.

Cheers for that, I think I'm going to go for the Vgate icar pro scanner and see how it goes.

Forscan lite on my mobile has been great. Its done pump and pilot learns, it gives likely causes of faults etc. It does have its limitations over the laptop versions - but it can do everything Torque Pro (just as an example) can and much more.

I found I couldn't get many things to work with the Bluetooth dongle and bought a laptop with Windows 10 . Back to the wired version and it actually works.

The common £12 carpro dongle will let u connect. I'm not sure if it will let you monitor as you are moving though.
