FIP Solenoid PID

Postby tntpilot » Sat Apr 27, 2024 9:36 am

So I have an update on my non runner project. I finally have some diagnostic communication with my vehicle, after much surfing , trolling and hair pulling . It helps to have the right software driver installed . Anyway now that I know the PCM matches the vehicle after finding different colour wires on part of the PCM harness . Now I can get into the real problem I suspect is the cause for not starting .
The Fuel Injection Pump
My question now, is there a fuel solenoid PID that will show why I don't have proper fuel pressure after the Bosch VP44 FIP after voltage tests are OK . I have read these pumps can be a bit of a problem and am curious to see if I can actually pinpoint a fault or does that require more specialized gear .
