Ford Transit Rocker Cover Replacement

Postby Jimxeo » Sat Jun 08, 2024 5:26 pm

Hi all.
I’m trying to find information on the Transit mk8 rocker cover. I am having presssure in the engine bay and trying to find out if this could be linked to the rocker cover.

I’m also wondering why they sell the rocker cover replacements allover the shop? Is it a known fault point on the engines.

Thanks!

The rocker cover also belongs to older engines than yours, if the injectors need service i think it has to come off ..and if its 18 years old as it could be, its going to crack because plastic will be brittle after all those years

There are many posts here about leaking injectors seals making the pressure ..so maybe do some reading .

Note; when you post, we need to know your engine size and if RWD or FWD in order to give you an complete answer.

Mk8 will only be 10 years old at best.
