2021 Transit Custom Mileage problem?

Hello, I’m new to the forum, but I’m on my third transit. I’ve just bought a 2021 transit custom. My old 2012 van had expired on the drive so I bought a vLinker and downloaded Forscan to help me attempt to fix it.

Out of interest I plugged this into my new van to find that the “total distance” on the DTC log for an indicator fault was 95927km when the van was serviced by the main dealer on the 15th July 2024. The current odometer reading 04/08/24 is 90376 km. Can anyone tell me if there is a legitimate reason why the earlier reading could be higher.
