A/C and CruiseControl not working, but no codes in FOREscan

Hello!

My A/C and Cruise Control are not working, but i have no related error codes in FOREscan?

Is there a way to get a "deaper scan" into the A/C HVAC and Cruise Control?

I've had more than my fair share of A/C problems, and there are almost never any trouble codes to assist with diagnosis.
The most common problem is lack of gas.
Next, is a non-working or sticking engine fan, (or the smaller fan if you have two)
Thirdly, the compressor may have an unserviceable clutch

Actually the clutch is completely gone haha Just figured that out today So i guess i'm replacing the compressor and hopefully all will be good!

I was just curious whether the only way to find the problem is by testing power circuits and visually checking parts haha So there's no deeper checks with software?

My last job had a dedicated auto electrician and he always said that the coeds that gave a fault on some part of hardware wasn’t always that it was more likely to be wiring related before you change it he’d always check the circuit

As Dumper said, it's always worth checking related fuses and wiring before you spend money. It's also worth powering up the fan remotely, because if that doesn't start to run, the aircon wont work.

Alright, thanks for the tips!

In my case the clutch is missing, so i've got to replace the a/c compressor anyways right? I read that it's hard to find just the right clutch for the A/C compressor.

I had to buy a new compressor for mine when the clutch went, it cost over £500 with fitting!

I had bought a second hand unit which looked to be in good condition, but apparently, it didn't fit

Ah sh*t!

I just found just the clutch as well, for supposedly my specific A/C Compressor. Worth trying putting the clutch back on again first, i guess? See if the clutch gets engaged when turning on A/C?

If not, i'll replace the whole thing..
