Hi,

Where can I download Formidable F-super software, I don't see any working download sites and I no longer have a CD player. Please advise. I already have Forscan and a V-link OBD reader. I would like to use Formidable dashboard if Forscan not working on Transit 2004 2.0TDCI OBD protocol. Thanks.

Your fuel injection system will be fooked , injectors, pump and all plumbing will need changing.....they always do ...no need for forscan

Forscan "WILL" work on your Mk6 TDCi Transit.

Yes Forscan works, but the SCV trimming and pump learning / Pilots Learning functions do not appear in the Forscan menu under the service functions, not even in extended version. I have replaced the SCV on the fuelpump and want to reset it and also the pump and injector learning. Only the injector code entry and the ABS reset function appear. That's why I'm looking for other programs that do offer this necessary SCV, injector and pump reset functions for Transit MY 2003, IDS would also be an option. I no longer have any error functions after PRV replacement and I disconnected the battery for 48 hours to reset the values, but I don't know if this is sufficient. Hence my question about other software options to trim the new PRV. By the way, my SCV was not broken, but was replaced as a precaution because of the glow plug warning that sometimes appears when accelerating uphill after downshifting. This would be a possible solution because they can "hook" on the inside due to rust, among other things.

The pump and pilot learn function won’t appear as that’s for the denso fuel system not the Delphi fuel system that the mk6 tdci runs, also they don’t have a prv, they have an inlet metering valve on the pump (scv as you call it)

ok thanks a lot. It's indeed a Delphi system I saw on the commonrail sticker. So no reset required even though the enclosed Delphi manual says so, I had to retrim this new Delphi inlet metering valve as last part of the exchange procedure, see picture:

Any options foor non OBD2 Transit 2004? Forscan has limited options and IDS is not being served in the Netherlands without official Ford Dealer code....Formidable needs expensive cable and has same options as Forscan so I believe. Thus, is Delphi systems not having Pump reset etc at this age of 2004, Model Year 2003? Is it complet selflearning full system except from injector coding? Then I am finished but wanna be sure...
