Choosing FORScan adapter cable

Hi all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction for an adapter cable to run FORScan on Windows laptop in the UK, been on the FORScan site and it recommends an adapter but links to an American site. Reading on the FORScan site it says on there ELM327 family is recommended for amateur and semi-professional usage, I need it for injector programming so I believe this will suffice, if anyone can recommend something that will work would be appreciated....

Just to addd is for a 2012 2.2 RWD transit..

I use a modified ELM327, bought from Tunnelrat Electronics, but I believe that they now recommend V-Linker, especially for the later vans.

Just to addd is for a 2012 2.2 RWD transit..

As the other lads have mentioned..Foscan now recommends the V-Linker and OBDLink EX for the latest version of Forscan, V2.3.62....mainly for later model machines with newer type equipment that the older Transits don't etc..

If you're using the older versions of Forscan... the old ELM-327 will suffice.

I originally tried the elm one. Twice. Nightmare to ever get it to work. Got the vlinker and it's been faultless
