Good evening all, I wish you all a good start to the weekend.
I have a 2010 transit FWD LHD 2.2 tdci 115t280 230000 km. In have spent a small fortune trying to fix this problem, and I'm now desperate to find a solution. The van has new MAF, EGR, MAP, Diesel filter, injectors, alternator, anti carbon additives, air filter, battery, the list is endless. And it will continually cut out on idle. It drives great, but as soon as I stop moving, the revs go somewhat erratic or it seems to chug a bit an conk out. Or it simply stops. It will start up again right away on turning the key, idle for some seconds and then stop again...or not...depends on the moment. I have noticed that the transparent plastic housing above the white diesel filter is only half full, not sure if that's an issue or not. Please to all you lovely people out there can you give me any constructive ideas to fix this as this is driving me nuts. I love this van, and it's the only issue it has, and I need to get it solved, I really hope you can guide me on this. Here is a link to what might be the part problem.
