Hi there, i have an issue with my 2016 transit. The PRB deploys and retracts manually also retracts in auto but does not deploy automatically. When i go to put the step into auto, it switches itself to off. Tested the door switch and its ok. Also does anybody know where the PRB module is located, read something that it may be part of the BCM. Many thanks.

UPDATE!!! I have now found the PRB module. It was located at the rear right side of the van behind a panel. Checked the voltage & ground, the medium speed CAN wires, then continuity of the wires going from the module to the power board and everything is good but still has the issue. With the side door shut and i try to deploy it manually, and it makes a small attempt to come out but goes straight back in. With the side door open, in manual it will deploy. As soon as i put it in auto a message comes up as "power step malfunction".
