unclear from your wording what you are talking about .. which bolts then, if not the carrier ?

M12 x 35mm note that's 12mm thread diameter

these will not be any old bolts - they will be high tensile

look at the diagram .. are you talking HB1 on the diagram .. part number - 1386758

note: comes up as drive shaft bolt for ford ranger in ebay .. must be the same number

if forum breaks link .. youll have to go through to it from here

well i can get to it from google .. but not from a link in the forum ... i don't know what anyone else is seeing

yes i have catcar.info back :) :) :) ....well... sort of .

1. Someone may have put red loctite on them ... means they need to be heated up beyond 200c to melt the loctite.

2. Have you tried flank drive sockets - these are 6 point hexagon sockets that grip on the flats and not the corners like 12 point ones do.
How flank drive works... first picture is a mild version, as you see a spanner version is illustrated too ...the 2nd illustration here is a bit of an exaggeration to get the message across, but now bit late, as you've probably mullerd it beyond saving ..but get sockets like this and rounding off will become highly unlikely in the future. as these sockets grip on the flats and not of the peaks of the hexagons.
