Factory fitted reverse camera, custom 2015

Hi guys… guessed this is best place to get answers
Got in my van last night to pop out to find reverse camera very grainy with no guide lines and squares used for sensors oh and the actually image is back to front… what should be on the right is on the left on the screen…..
Taken camera out and check connectors on back door and all look fine, disconnected battery for 20mins but made no difference, although screen is no longer grainy. Can’t find any settings on head unit and the three button on control panel to zoom in, turn Gide lines off/on etc don’t work. My mechanic is going to hook up scanner see if there’s any options on there but not hopeful. If it’s the camera can I buy an after market one that performed just like my one? You know with sensors intergrated etc
