Whining noise

Postby Neilh1 » Tue Feb 24, 2026 1:05 pm

Hi.
I have a 2019 jumbo transit rwd. There is a whining/ humming noise when pressing the gas pedal even slightly. When coasting or not accelerating there is no whining.

Any thoughts what can be?
I take it’s not a bearing as not constant.
Been told could be transmission oil low or dirty.
Have looked online and YouTube but can’t seem to find where the dipstick/ plug fill and drain is?
Any help on the noise or how to fill transmission oil be appreciated.

Thanks

If it’s the same as a 65 plate it’s on the driver’s side of the gearbox think it’s 22 mil spanner size
