Foam gasket for sliding door actuator

Hi Everyone,

Recently purchased a 2020 Ford transit 250. The sliding door would not open from the inside. Apparently it was a problem with the actuator so I had to replace the whole unit. Part sk4z-61264a00-a. After getting everything installed, I noticed there was no foam gasket where the latch mechanism is on the back part of the door. Did a lot of searching, but cannot find this part anywhere. Does anyone know the part and where I could purchase it?

sorry not familiar with it .. and there are so many variegations on the door .. i will not be able to point you to the right one ... start here .. look for the part number .. then put it into ebay or google

if it turns out that it isn't available

all I can say is, make one yourself
closed-cell-foam sheet is available on ebay.. plain or adhesive backed

or i can give you an alternative idea

that is roofing rubber .. plenty of jobs going on through out every-bodies neighbourhoods .. where they will probably give you off cuts for free .

you can use it .. single thickness or double it up as required

ive just made gaskets for my boast out of the stuff .. very easy

Awesome, Thanks. That is helpful. Guess it wouldn't be too hard to make. Bummer that the $400+ actuator system didn't come with it.

oh forgot laminate flooring underlay is the same stuff
