:? if you could get the hole van with all the bits to use it would be better but to convert i think it would be a nightmere, even the throtle pedal is eletronic! :?

You could just bolt on the turbo and see how long it lasts!
But seriously there has been quite a lot of discussion on this, as you can imagine it's a mod quite a lot of people want. Have alook here: http://fordtransit.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2055 or use the search button.

It should last OK, but it wouldn't pull you out of bed.

Without a means of extra fuel to match the increased air charge volume, it'll be gutless

well u could wind the fuelling up but that would mean it would pour out smoke when its off boost which wouldnt be too hot

pity ford went to an electronic pump with the TDi unlike VW, their early 1.6 and 1.9TD motors were fully mechanical with a boost controlled enrichment circuit on the pump

The bosch pump fitted to Transit couldn't cope with the on boost fueling requirements, Turning up the fueling increases fuel delivery throughout the rev range

Doesn't mean that Bosch didn't supply a VP pump to another manufacturer with boost sensing capability. Maybe have a chat to a Bosch pump specialist.
