temp and fuel gauges not working....help please guys

Postby Harrison » Fri Dec 30, 2005 8:30 pm

Hi all,
back again....sorry.........got a new problem this time, and before i start looking well into it i thought i'd ask your advise first.
I dont know if its due to the cold snap were having but both my temperature and fuel gauges arent working.
My fuel gauge has stopped on 1/4 full and the temp gauge doesnt move.

First thoughts: fuse , havent checked yet but any other ideas would be appreciated.
Are the gauges on the same fuse?...cos speedometer is working fine.
Also could be the same prob , but the window washer motor has stopped too.......fuse????

Thanks again in advance guys

speedo is a cable operated item, so thats why it still works.

fuses are the first place to start, check them ALL, the layout chart on the fuse box lid wasn't that acurate for all models.
