Right heres the story, got an Lreg tranny Di as a doner for me recovery, drove it about for 2 weeks no problems all perfect just a 6month old recon lump and box should be.
Took the compleat unit ()engine,box, clutch cable and pedle from the Lreg into me recovery, now i can't get any gears start the van in gear and it's fine, no creeping and the pedel comes up 1/4 travel before the clutch bites and the van moves, BUT start it out of gear, press the clutch down and it wont go into any gear
had the box off and changed the clutch arm (as it kept falling off the ball it pivots on) box back in and still the same
did descover SWB box mounts and LWB are different (the rubber bit between box and Xmember).
The clutch arm comes all the way forward on the cable end so i recon the clutch has colapsed?
anyone ever had this happen just from removing a clutch cable before, cos basicly thats all we did, removed the clutch cable and swapped the lot into the other van.
Got me and me mate stumped, gonna pull the box out again saterday and put me old clutch in from the old engine and box.

gots be the clutch or the box maybe ,or your clutch fork isnt write!

Deffo something aint right
but what gets me is all i did was remove the clutch cable and transfer the whole lot over from one van to tother, even transferd the peddle and cable from the origional van
still putting me old clutch on, to see what that does
