1989 indicator arm on a 1999

Would the indicator arm from a 1989 Transit fit a 1999 one (T reg)? Were there any design changes durng this time?

Although mine indicates fine, it doesn't automatically turn off. I have investigated the switch, and it seems faulty. Thought it might be a cheap repair if it was compatible.

from memory they look slightly different! but im not sure if they would swap - knowing fords i'd guess so!! but ive never tried it!!

they are slightly different but they just about fit we have got a 88 one on the blue 98 van

Anyhoo, I'm booked in with Rover to give it the once over soon, so I'm sure he'll make sure that's not the case.

I know 87 and 93 are different i just tried to do that swap
87 has 2 plugs per switch and 93 has 1 (longer and thinner), didn't want to cut the loom so used me old switches on the later colum (i put the 93 colum in me 87 recovery).

hmm dont remeber changing the loom will have a look and let you know might of have but it was a long time ago
