Engine cuts out when cold

Postby Powertone » Tue Mar 28, 2006 12:20 am

My engine has started cutting out when first started in the morning. Its ok if I hold the revs or drive straight off but it wont idle on its own until its been running for a few minutes when cold, although it does start first turn.

Itll idle all day after the initial cold start in the morning.

Any ideas?

Different Engine

Postby Terry » Tue Mar 28, 2006 2:21 pm

Well I have told it that it's a completely different
engine, but it didn't seem to be paying attention.

Can I assume that means the problem is gone now ?

That wasn't taking the piss, a little joke, hence the smiley.
When the problem is diagnosed, I'll get it sorted.

Ok, where would I find the cold start cable if it's fitted? And how would I know if it's operating?

Cheers
