Handbrake

Postby Baggers » Wed Mar 29, 2006 12:52 am

:?: Hello again. Just a quick question. Is it a legal requirement for a vehicle to have a warning light on the dash to indicate that the handbrake is on? Doing a job on my van I needed to tap into the handbrake warning circuit, but I was shocked to find that I ain't got one!!!!!!! No wires,no switch on the handbrake, no nothing.
I have got a bulb in the instrument cluster though, as this comes on initially for the fluid level.
Cheers, Baggers.

dont think so as mine aint got it and it has been thru at least 5 mot's that i know of :D
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
