I have changed the fuel filter and air/oil and even added some redex injection cleaner at last fill up but has made no difference however i did get the tail pipe welded for mot but it had snapped past rear silencer just before it comes out under sliding door . How would i know if baffles had collapsed?
How can i tell if it is 100 ps engine is it stamped somewhere on engine?
when i turn on ignition 3 lights light up engine /oil /temp and then they go out as soon as engine fires up ,engine statrts first time every time and no smoke. anyone know location of ecu?

It is fitted with the 85ps td transit engine i think but it woont rev above 3000 revs max, i can only get it to rev up to 2500 revs say in 2nd or 3rd and flat out down hill your lucky if you can pass 55mph. the engine note also sounds like it changes as you go up the rev range sort of tappety. Surely this cant be right as i bought it thinking it would be a flying machine as i was told these engines are excellent . It will pull all day up hills but never goes past 30 as it will not rev and i find it needs a lot of revs to pull away otherwise it goes all jerky .Ihave changed all oils and filters new battery etc but never looked at cambelt .mot guy said it sounded like pump timing was out but I havnt got a clue. any help would be greatly appreciated guys.
i knoe it has the ford engine i would also of thourt it will be more like the 100ps engine if its twin wheel!
If this jumps a tooth you'll also have this problem
