gear box leak

hello,sorry if this has been coverd in an old post.ive got a 51 plate rear drive transit...its leaking oil from a small hole at the bottom where the gearbox bolts to the engine... (it seems this hole could of been made for this purpose),oh yes ..the question ..is there one almighty gasket where they meet or is it a large o ring type thing...thanks
