injector pump conversion ... HELP!!!

Postby BanditUK » Fri Apr 07, 2006 10:31 pm

Hi fellaz
I've bought a chipped injector pump for my transit and need to
convert so its a non chipped pump. I've been told this is possible
but I was wondering if any of you transit gurus know where there
is a write up on how to do this or of any other posts referring to this
job, tried search but found nowt, or if its a simple job could you tell
me what to do. PLEASE!!!!!!!
Cheers in advance guys
Mike

are we talking mk5 epic or mk6 :?
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

m reg will be mk5 is it a turbo di ?? if so it will be a lucas epic pump which can be converted to bosch manual pump i am currently looking to do this to my new engine :) if its a ordinary di you shouldnt have to many probs trying to swap the pump over maybe its the pats thingy :? :?

ok its not a turbo, the pump on at the mo is bosch, and looks identical
to the new one, but have been told the new one is chipped, and i'm sure mine is not.

bosch being the one with the mushroom shaped bit on the top, i was told :?
