hi ,,,new to this ,, just took a gearbox out put a solid flywheel and new clutch in 2001 lwb rear wheeldrive transit ,,,can get the van to start now plz help

When you turn the engine over what does the speedo do?

the spedo is faulty at the best of times and all the deisel guage ,, i notchied when i was towing it the gauges and dont seem right

dont no really didnt look ive just took the battery of to charge ,, can put it back on now if it helps mate

Just thinking you've probably got the wiring for the crank and speed sensor the wrong way round, easy way to tell is the speedo will move up as the engine cranks.

Turn it over and look at the speedo first.

just put the battyery on it started straight up for 2 seconds then cut out and now just cliking the spedo was not moveing

ok sorry ,, just joined could you help me out plz the van is starting straight of the key then cuts after doing the clutch it was running mint before
