expensive starter motor

hi its mick all the best for new year, well i phoned a local motor spares for a price 03 plate t280 2ltr Starter Motor £75, ok week later when i went to collect one £88 with £20 charge for old one £108 the reply was my 03 plate has a fault on the flywheel something to do with grease seal and can only give me 28 day warranty on the new starter is this right. wot is the differance with,,,,,,, e bay £59 ones thanks mick.

They are talking about the dual mass flywheel, when these fail they kill the starters. Have a search on the forum, you will find lots of info.
