connect injection pump pressure HELP !

Postby hts1000 » Wed Dec 30, 2009 10:17 am

Hi Guys
thanks for all your help so far but I have come across another problem with my TDDI
After repairing the head from a cambelt failure I am unable to get the van to fire, It took me 3 hours to get fuel to the injectors, I now have what looks like good flow to the injectors but I have taken out the injectors and there is no fuel coming through them at all.

Any Ideas?, How do I check if the pump is turning on? should I see high pressure at the pipes feeding the injectors?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

cheers

yes the pressure should be high at the injectors, they can be a pig to bleed, basically you just keep filling up the filter with diesel, keep crackin injector nuts and keep cawing till she starts,
