Welcome to the Forum, BTW. If you post the paint code (on the VIN plate) I am sure somebody on here can tell you what colour your van is officially.

You need to get the 2 letter code out of box 15 below, there are 3 types of Red.

ED = Garnet Red
EM = Radiant Red
ES = Pepper Red

If it is Pepper or any metalic finnish you will need a couple of coats of laquer to make the colour right.

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Did you give halford's the paint code? Maybe the van was originally white.

Well now I'm really confused. I thought it was Pepper Red and I have used Halfords Pepper Red to respray one of the rear side bumpers and it sure looks like a match. Guess I'll have to get some paprika red paint and try that out! And yes, its an M reg.

The easy thing to do is check your paint code against the list above!

Good thinking, outside with the torch... shows ES, thus should be pepper red, but how does this reconcile with Madmark's Paprika dates?
