INFO NEEDED MK5 ENGINE

I new here i have a couple of tippers in the past but have just got a mk5 swb. looking at the engine it is missing a link bar from the throtle to a buterfly valve on the inlet. and there is no vac pipes from the egr valve. i just need some pictures or some advice of what else may be missing. it still drives fine but cant work out why these bits are missing. its not a banana manifold engine if that helps.

Someone has disconnected the EGR valve by the sound of it.
The van will run fine as it is

Sounds like it's had the EGR mod, is the butterfly tied open? if so leave it like that it will go better
