tire pressure on untreated back roads

when your on roads that are basicly snow and ice, is it better to drop pressures or leave them the same?

lowering pressures can work,but its not worth it, i would imagine you would need them below 30psi. only for fresh snow.. 30psi is no good for normal running.running on ice is the same as running on tarmac.tyres would f*** up in no time.bar running studded tyres its high gears and gentle smooth driving.
