02 transit gearbox problem

can any one help with my suspect gearbox/clutch problem ????
symptoms are i cant start the van unless the clutch is pushed down, when i lift my foot up although the gear stick is in neautral it feels like it is in gear ???
clutch down it goes in to every gear but 5th ?? plus when you lift up the clutch it squeals ?? any help please this van is my bread an butter thanks folks

cured without help no oil in the gear box( idiot) lucky its all ok an back on the road
