frozen fuel line/filter

Postby ollypeebles » Mon Jan 25, 2010 12:57 am

Got new (09) 2.2 transit 300 fwd. Started fine in -8 in scotland but after a night of almost -17 warming up to -12 when I came to try and start it it wouldn't start. The laughingly named -29 twin battery starter pack meant no problems with power. After many tries it eventually would run for 20 seconds and then die again. Somewhat irritatingly my 15 year old 2.5 transit auto after 7 days of not being started and with only one battery sparked up instantly. Can anyone recomend a course of action? Should I try and get it fixed under warranty. Thanks
