any body know the proper name for the gearbox speed sensor which sends the speed to eletronic clocks on a 1997 mk5 as i cant find one any were.

i purchased one last week for mi minibus ant it was called a pulse generator but i would asume that if you tell any parts person what you are after they will know what you are after
