are they easy to change as think mine needs doing as it sounds a little squealy on start up and tick over changed the belt not that long ago so know its not this mk6 2002 lwb hr cheers guys

i take it your on about long drive belt , yes one bolt holds it on,before you buy a new tentioner, there a thread on here about just changing the bearing,as well as the idler pulley , easy job about a fiver a bearing

whoops already brought i guess i could take it back tho or is it worth putting this one on and whats the other pulley about is it just a case of getting a socket on the bolt and undoing it

just use your new one least you no will be ok other pully is just an idler pulley which you will see not connected to anything, belt just goes round it

could be its prob done a few mile, more for piece of mind, they do tend to get necglected, althou they dont need looking after, its a sealed bearing, but they do get dry after a while,it will all depend on cost of a new one ,shouldnt cost a fortune thou, not much to them, certainly a lot cheaper than tentioner,
