Passenger Door Handle Not Working!

I finally got round to fitting my airhorn the other day. All working perfectly. I even sorted out the draining battery problem I had recently, as I found that a nut had fell off one of the connections to the alternator. So that's sorted. Well chuffed. NOW, suddenly my passenger outside door handle no longer opens the door! I can open it from the inside but not from the outside. Anyone have any idea of what might have happened and what I'll probably need to do, before I consider taking apart the door?

mine is the same its like the handle doesnt spring back properly, have degreased the mechanism and re-greased with white spray grease, now it does open if you give it a good tug or pull it repeatedly untill it does open but it can be opened if you do it right.
will take off door panel at som point to see problem but got more important things at mo.

hi, just fixed this on my van. handle was right at the limit of opening before door catch would release, then would only open from inside. take door trim, card off and once inside you will see small operating bar go from handle to catch, its threaded so just unclip and turn thru a couple of threads to get adjustment. you will see what i mean once you get in there.
