mate they are meant to rev to 4200rpm arent they?? anyway what i mean is at about 95mph the clutch pedal literally jumps up and down violently between the slack and gets very annoying

Your max. continuous revs is supposed to be 4000rpm and it says 4400rpm intermittently
Mine went over this once and frightened me

Back to your problem. Is there a soft spring you could have left off

Is the pedal loose and at what rev does this start

no springs missing that i can see starts at 3900rpm on only in 5th tho but i rarely thrash her in other gears i think the police have had the governer fiddled with it has always revved to 4300rpm ish continuously

i used the correct tool which is far better than the s**t they sell today plastic crap should be ok but worth a check i suppose

Don't you think you're being a bit harsh (alright lets be honest) very harsh on your engine

And 3900rpm is high enough

Could the faulty clutch (you first tried to fit)have ruined the threads

i wouldnt have thought the pressure plate is coming loose - does the clutch slip at all

mine revs to 4200 as well but can only get 85mph from mine
