Running poor when hot, LDV Transit engine Help please

Hi There

New to the site, I have a LDV Convoy with the 2.5 bannan transit engine on a 2000 plate.

I have had alot of LDV vans in the past and always seems to be the same problem basicly it suns poor when hot, I have always found that it to be the fuel filter blocked, so replace it and use injector cleaner, runs great no issues

However

On this convoy the filter is new and I have used injector cleaner ect and it still runs crap

it doesent use and water and it runs great when cold just when up to temp it trys and bogs down and you have to realy rev it.

Any idears what the issue may be I woulld be greatfull

When was it last fully serviced, Filters, oil timing belt, tappets set etc etc

oil and fuel changed recent

not checked the air filer but why would it run good cold and poor hot if it was the filter would it not do this all the time ?

egr valve (blank it) and air intake butter fly (tie strap it open)
