Which is no1 plug

Can anyone tell me which is no1 spark plug on my 2.0 essex v4 is it the one nearest the steering box and also the firing order and which is no 4 plug cheers

pretty sure its 1342 and number 1 ..i would imagine would be front of engine first cylinder left hand side
if your not sure take rocker cover off spark plugs out ..turn engine over watch inlet valves note which ones go up and down take note which inlet goes down and in what order,you can work out firing order from that ...
