ignition barrel

hi i need to change the ignition barrel on my 1999 transit is it a difficult job anyone done one before any tips for me

if it is only the barrel they are easy to change, but the immobiliser chip will need changing or reprogramming

Depending on what's wrong with it you can rebuild the tumblers to suit your old key(s), though it can take some fiddling to get right even with Ford kits.
