I have a Semi High top Transit
2.5
Diesel
1998 (R Plate)
Problem:
Dip beam/main light is dim like the side lights.
(I have had a new switch fitted as all lights were out)
(All other lights working; indicators, full beam, break and Fog lights)
I appricate any help.

PS Could the problem be the ballast resistor behind o/s headlamp????

The resistor behind the O/S headlight is for the blower motor. For the headlights I would check relays C and X11 in top row and A in bottom row in fusebox. Also check all fuses and the earths for the headlights.

Also have you tried new bulbs

He still has not tried to fix the van as we have been so busy.
