I run 4 ldvs all of which we have removed the fly by wire and fitted the non turbo pump, you need a non turbo thottle pedal and cable, the bracket used to hold cable at the pump end. You need a non turbo pump and the support braket that holds it to the block at the back. (Dont leave the bracket off, we did and it snapps the pump off the aluminium face plate). Remove the old fly by wire pump refir your new pump, fit the pedal, fit the cable, refit the metal diesel lines and find an ignition live for the pump stopper and off you go. Your transit turbo will run without the need for an ecu. Loads of people say you will have emission problems etc etc etc buy between our 4 vans we do 280,000 miles all hard as they are recovery trucks towing trailers and we never have a problem. I find they are faster, have more power and are easier to look after.
Hope that helps
