Propshaft Lengths

Postby tradeplates » Sun Apr 11, 2010 1:54 am

I want to make my 1997 transit lwb chasis cab longer can anyone tell me how much longer the hi cube (XLWB) van prop is than the lwb tipper. Have priced up making a longer prop but the only company locally wants £325

The wheelbases and thus the propshafts are the same as standard - there is only a SWB and LWB transit up to 2000. The XLWB (as you put it) just has a larger overhang at the back
