help: 95 Turbo Diesel Injector Pump Timing Method needed

Can you please help with the Diesel Injector Pump Timing Method, 4 bolt pulley Lucas Electronic pump.
Engine has been rebuilt, new Injectors, Turbo rebuilt, Injector pump tested, ect ect.
All timing performed using 3 pins, Pump pulley & Cam pulley & Fly wheel.
Engine blows lots white smoke. Tried moving pulley centre in relation to pulley but need to understand method.

Sounds like you are doing it right
After fitting the belt and checking it's tension, rotate the engine a complete turn and then recheck that the belt is still correctly tensioned and try fitting all the pins in their places (correct pins and not some excuse for pins)
The pins must be of the exact diameter, or you'll go wrong

Now the crankshaft and camshaft pins are engaged, you should also be able to fit the pin for the pump
IF the pin doesn't go into it's seat, this is when you slacken the four bolts and rotate the bolts within the slots of the pulley, until the pin goes in (tighten bolts)
Job done
Remove pins and start engine

Is all the air out of the system

Remember that the 13mm pin must go right through the flywheel

Thanks for your infomation, the problem turned out to be one of the new injectors remaing open, currently waiting for a replacement.
