I have a 2006 transit with 33000 miles tat i have owned from new.
I am having problems with the key remotes. The first key i used for the first two years then started having problems gaining entry to van due to the blue casing splitting. This is caused by the pressure put on key when turning on ignition. Since then i have been using my second key and two years on this has also split. Is there a known fault with these. Should ford be replacing them FOC. I have been in touch with Arnold Clark service in Aberdeen and its not their problem and want £60 per fobe and £60 to program. I have since been onto ford customer service and they will have nothing to do with this they say there is no faults with the keys. So if no one here can help it looks like its going to cost me £120 every two years to have a key that works.
