Bulkhead

Postby IainAdam » Tue May 25, 2010 2:33 pm

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong section...

I want a bulkhead for my van,now i have found a steel one in a breakers close to me,however its a normal roof model and mine is a semi high roof

Other than the gap at the top is there any reason why i cant fit this low roof version into my semi high roof?

Many thanks

Iain

*EDIT* Sorry meant to also ask, mine is a 2000 on a W,the donor van is on a S plate...does this cause any problems?

Hi Captain Hook...thanks

I was worried that it might be bolted on at the roof, and as my roof is higher it may cause an issue.

Actually im thinking that i could use the space above the cab area if i put a shelf there, where the gap is,that i can access from inside the van.Just to keep small items and save them rolling around inside the back.My thinking is that if it wasn't a semi high roof,i would have less headroom anyway...what you think?

Cheers

On the MK6/7 semi high vans, Ford actually use the lowroof headling and fit a shelf above it, so nothing stopping you doing the same :)
