Alloy Wheels Torque Setting (nuts)

Postby Leeday » Wed May 26, 2010 10:43 am

Hi everyone.
My wheelnuts have arrived for my new alloys :D
However in my trusty Haynes manual it only specifies the wheel nut torque setting for steel wheels which is 55 - 70 ibf ft, does anyone know what the torque setting should be for the alloy wheels as I am sure it is different.
It is mk3 transit, with 5 wheel studs to each wheel. Wheelnuts have changed from the 60 degree cone type (on the steel wheels) to flat faced wheel nuts (for the alloys),
Once fitted pictures will be here :D
Thanks..
