mk2 steering box stripped threads

As title.
Refitted loose steering box after painting engine bay and noticed that someone had overtightened the bolts into the box so stripping the thread.
Any ideas of a fix without removing box?

Could try retapping the next size up or helicoil them.

Tapping oversize and putting in a wire threaded insert.

Where do you get these from?
The steering box looks alloy will they still work o.k?
Think threads are currently M10.

i think the mk3 ones are M12 so might have been a common problem

helicoiling you do - how many threads are damaged

helicoiling is usefull where you need the origanal bolt in this case i'd just up the size to M12 doing thats easier and cheeper than helicoils
