Got a MK5 2.5 turbo 1996/P reg transit bus, on a LWB chassis and 6 wheels.
Had problems before with vibration throughout the bus, which through you guys found out that the problem was to do with the propshaft. Had two centre bearings fitted and the CV joint where the prop meets the diff.
Been soundproofing the bus lately like a madman and only just started properly driving it again. Going to Glastonbury in it next week and am trying to sort everything out before we go, but after just driving it up and down the A12 with my girlfriend driving - so she can get used to it - I'm sitting further back and can hear it vibrating from underneath again.
One of the tyres is warped, a mechanic mate told me when he last looked over it a few months back. Could it be that that makes it vibrate? It's nowhere near as bad as it used to be but it's still not right, and when it hits about 40+ it starts playing up. When we cruise at 50 it's not too bad, but still there. It doesn't seem to disappear as we go faster, just gets worse.
Any ideas? Would like to try and get it sorted this week ifposs.
