Door locking question :)

I have a red Transit van 04 reg and on the door/ window it says 125 T280 (I am not very technical)

It has central locking (although I have lost the thingy which is annoying) - is it possible to lock the front and side and leave the back unlocked - I am sure it is as I have a vague memory of the salesman telling me about it but I have never managed to do it

Can anyone please enlighten me - I would be very grateful.

I think you can only do this from the 3 button remote. Press the "lock" button to lock all the doors then press the "boot" button to unlock the rear/side doors only. You need to have all the doors closed to begin with.

You will need to find your thingy (remote key fob?).

Suspect I am doomed to a life of having either all doors locked or none as god knows where the key fob is!

You can buy and program another fob .......... there are a couple of people selling them on here
