I thought the Duratorq was supposed to be a good engine with 4 valves per cylinder :?:

We've still not seen any proof of a running Di MK6, only half completed bodges. Still a stupid idea

The irony of the whole subject, I have 4 good Di's in my sheds, but need a 125ps duratorque. Just wanted to pick some one's brain. Only wanted for local work so a slow Di would do. John L.

I'm pretty sure that if Bazw can fit a Di in a Sprinter, then fitting one in a MK6 would be childs play to him  :D

I would certainly love to own such a beast, just to be different :P

its been done a few times on RWD mk6 transit but doubtful if you can make 1 FWD easily(bet someone will use the old 1.8 engine)
and you would really want a turbo Di.

I`ve seen one in a RWD ! we mot`d it,has the early `86? TURBO  engine, they`ve even plumbed in the mk6 intercooler, used the mk3/4/5 MT 75 box,a combo of different mk`s to make engine mounts.
Everything used is transit,so spares easy.
Probably around 100PS with reliability
