radio doesn't work

Hi. I am looking for any suggestions about how to get my radio working. The van is a 2002 mwb 100ps. The radio is a 2000 traffic. The problem is that it just doesn't turn on. The fuses in the fusebox are all sound but I have heard there is another fuse behind the radio, I have taken the radio off and can't see it (I was looking on the actual radio - shall I take it off again and look behind the facia?) Alternatively I can buy a second hand radio fairly cheaply but am not sure if this will solve the problem. Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

There is usually a fuse on the back of the radio itself adjacent to the multiplug - you may have to take the plug out to see it. It is normally a red blade fuse but is smaller than the normal fuses although Mk 7's use this size.
